Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Grosvenor Villa, reminiscent of Downton Abbey in style, offers spacious rooms with comfortable, often large or four-poster, beds. Guests commonly enjoy the plentiful and delicious homemade breakfast served in a wonderful setting. Located in a tranquil area, it's a pleasant riverside or canal-side walk to the city center, though some guests have noted a slightly dated feel to the property, in line with its traditional character.

dated decor misleading setup
The breakfast offered plentiful variety. It was more than adequate.
The decor looked somewhat dated. This may be deliberate, considering it is a traditional house. I expected more of a hotel setup and felt a bit misled.
