poor insulation restricted room
the staff proved efficient and personable to some extent.
The room i got felt rather cramped. Moving around was quite difficult. The noise from other guests was also a bit MUCH at times. i found the room's size restricted and noise insulation poor.

warm welcome helpful staff excellent array delicious breakfast
I enjoyed a very warm welcome upon arrival and found the staff helpful . The pub offered an excellent array of drinks, alongside a selection of craft ales that I appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight. It was delicious and set me up perfectly for the day, a proper start. The building exuded character. Its charm contributed to a very nice experience. I loved it.
The on-site parking could get a bit tight when the pub was busy. I noticed it during peak hours.

slightly disappointing room

the staff seemed attentive.
I found the room size quite small. It felt cramped. there wasn't much space around the bed. i think potential guests should be informed about room sizes before they book.

attentive staff excellent food nice character
the staff was attentive and helpful. i enjoyed the excellent food in the restaurant. the building had lots of character, a nice touch. i found the location great for exploring the surrounding area.
the room was a bit small, but it worked fine for my short stay.

a gem in the cotswolds!

amazing bed delicious curry
lunch was delicious at this pub (i especially loved the fish curry!). the staff were warm and cute, making it a great experience. the selection of drinks was also amazing, and the room was comfy with an amazing bed.
the parking outside was quite busy and i struggled to find a space. thankfully there's a larger car park just a short walk away from the pub though!
