friendly team comfy linen
Everyone was friendly from arrival to departure, a very polite and helpful team. The room showed thoughtful consideration, I noticed the bed and linen were comfy. Breakfast was wonderful and I was grateful the chef happily sliced my avocado. This made my meal even better.

spacious room private garden helpful staff
the room felt very comfortable and spacious. the outside garden area ensured privacy, which i valued (as i enjoy quiet time). we had a private family meal, with excellent service and attention. staff were helpful and polite, something i always appreciate.
no gluten free biscuit was available in the room as promised. i saw bathroom walls looked wet and paint peeling off. i expected everything to be in perfect condition.

My room, a beautiful double room, featured thoughtful touches. Bramley toiletries added a special feel. I enjoyed the beautiful south facing terraced garden. It had sunshine from sunrise to sunset. Staff gave great service.
Parking proved a challenge, especially arriving later in the day.

attentive staff cozy atmosphere
The staff was very attentive. Our room was clean and well-equipped. The bathroom included luxury toiletries sourced locally. Breakfast offered a wide selection at the buffet and hot dishes cooked to order. I found the attention to detail excellent and the atmosphere cozy.
The room's heater dial was broken. This made it difficult to adjust the temperature. The room became very hot.

The bed was VERY comfortable. The decor felt more like a room in someone's house. I found staff friendly in the restaurant.
Room 10 opens directly into the courtyard. Conversations in the kitchen were audible. The phone in the room didn't work though the guest guide SAID it did.

lovely getaway!

huge bedroom separate shower delicious breakfast
i enjoyed room 11, it was better than i expected. the bedroom had huge space. almost the same size was the bathroom, complete with a standing bath and separate shower. complimentary bramley products were a nice touch too. we appreciated the delicious breakfast and the continental spread.
