Eight enjoys a superb location right in the heart of Bath, steps away from the Roman Baths and Bath Abbey, and next door to Sally Lunn's Eating House. Guests often compliment the renovated building's charm, spacious and well-equipped rooms, and excellent bathrooms; some rooms even feature luxurious freestanding tubs. While some guests in certain rooms have noted noise from nearby establishments, the hotel also offers unique amenities such as an honesty bar in the basement, and a great breakfast that is considered to be worth having.

fantastic LOCATION and Service

polite staffefficient staffroman bathsstreet noise
i am thankful for my stay. The staff was polite and very efficient. They stored my luggage upon early arrival. The location is unbeatable, right next to the Abbey and Roman Baths.
My room was small. I would have liked more space. The noise from the street was a bit loud at times. I think better soundproofing would improve the stay.
Dining

breakfast provides great choices and fresh ingredients, i really like the variety available. There is fresh fruit, pastries, and hot dishes available each morning. The coffee machine works well, so the coffee is always fresh.
Facilities

The honesty bar has a very good selection of drinks. Umbrellas are available to use. These thoughtful features added value to my stay.
Location

The hotel includes townhouses. It is located right in the city center. The roman baths are just steps away, it is very useful. A townhouse makes it feel like a private flat.

Decent stay in a central location

modern decorfriendly staffhandmade biscuitshigh noisesingle glazed windowsunacceptable disruption
The room decor was modern and minimalist. It had everything i needed. There were some handmade delicious biscuits available for tea. The staff were very friendly..
The noise outside made sleeping difficult. I was not made aware of this beforehand. The level of noise was beyond acceptable. I knew it was a hotel in the centre of town..

The location was amazing. The Abbey was very close. I liked that the room was very clean and the bed was comfy.
I found a very slight noise issue. There was a bar opposite the hotel. The noise was audible until late.
