delicious breakfast ideal location fabulous hosts
i appreciated the delicious breakfast. it had granola with fruit and yogurt. croissants and a cooked breakfast were also available. the location proved ideal for exploring local national trust properties.
i found it unexpected that the private bathroom was not connected to the room. the bathroom was down a shared hallway, a bit inconvenient.

the house was beautiful. it was well maintained. the breakfast was excellent, i am grateful for that.
i was uncomfortable because i could not lock the bathroom door. this was not addressed . i found the bedroom also not fitted with a lock.

warm welcome beautiful setting varied breakfast laundry service
The hosts welcomed me with scones and jam upon arrival. The gardens provided a beautiful setting. Breakfast included granola, fruit, yogurt, croissants and a cooked breakfast. I appreciated the offer to do laundry .
The bedroom door did not have a lock, causing a slight unease .

The room had comfortable bedding and toiletries. It also featured ample towels and bathrobes. Water and tea were available, and the ensuite bathroom contained a marvelous tub and a beautiful garden view. The provided toiletries were high quality.

The hosts were friendly, offering suggestions for local dining without tourist traps. Breakfast was served at a large table with other guests. It had fresh, genuine ingredients. They also readily provided information about the surrounding area.

The location is near many villages. The hotel is surrounded by sheep pastures and paddocks. This provides a quiet and serene setting. I could easily drive to nearby attractions.
