the king beautiful room was spacious. breakfast service included multiple options to choose, and the scrambled eggs had a wonderful creamy texture. i did appreciate there was a wide range of available teas.
the stairs in the house are steep, so carrying luggage was a bit difficult.

interesting pieces great location homemade muesli
i found many interesting pieces relating to the family around the home. the host took time showing us around and explaining the history of the cottage. the location was also great, with a awesome breakfast. i particularly enjoyed the homemade muesli and granola!
i noticed no locks on the bedroom doors. the bathroom toilet seat also wasn't properly fitted. every tap or toilet flush set off a loud pump.

a perfect country escape

beautiful grounds indian food unique charm
This hotel has beautiful grounds. the nearby pub offered authentic indian food, which i found good after a day exploring the countryside. humphrey, the elderly cat, added such a unique charm to my visit. I gave him so many cuddles, and he seemed to adore them.
i noticed a slight musty smell in the attic room, which could be improved with better ventilation.

I appreciated the attractive hotel and well-kept grounds. Reading by the fire in the 'snug' after a day walking was lovely. The hosts gave excellent suggestions for local walks and dining. The house holds interesting pieces that relate to the family (lovely details).
I noticed the stairs are steep and twisty, which might be challenging for some guests.
