shower cubicle comfortable bed useful fridge

the courtyard room had a shower cubicle and a separate bath. two sinks were in my room. a fridge was available, which i found very useful. the bed was comfortable.

i had to ask for a missing item. this delayed my initial settling in. nothing else went wrong.

slow service kitchen noise

the service felt slow at times a lot of people were there. sometimes staff did not seem available when needed it was irritating. also my room was near the kitchen so i could hear noise early in the morning that was a problem. i think that the hotel needs to improve its staffing levels at peak times to give a better experience. the noise from the kitchen should also be addressed maybe with soundproofing.

the location was fine. it was central, i suppose.

the bar service? slow. i waited ages for a drink, i did. the room, a main house cosy double, was not exactly super clean. the lamp table had dust, like a forgotten tomb.

mixed experience, service inconsistencies noted

slow service preheated sausage

i found some inconsistencies . the breakfast service was slow and disorganized one morning. i asked for tea multiple times and waited a significant amount of time. the food quality was also disappointing, with bacon difficult to cut and preheated sausages (not quite the quality i expected).

busted shower loud buzzing

okay, so, i showed up and the room they gave me? not exactly what i was expecting. the shower, it was kinda busted. and the bathroom fan just kept going, some loud buzzing thing i couldnt turn off. i had to tell them twice before they even bothered to move me to a new room. seriously?

My room featured a comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom. I discovered welcome treats upon arrival in my room. The history felt very evident throughout and provided a very enjoyable atmosphere. I found staff amiable. They seemed happy to help when needed.

The hotel lobby was a little too busy with visitors checking in and out, made finding a quiet spot temporarily difficult.

The staff at reception handled check-in quickly and efficiently. Restaurant staff seemed very attentive and responsive to requests. They delivered prompt service. Porters were available to assist with luggage as needed.
