The staff were very friendly, they helped with any requests. the pub felt cosy. i discovered that the accommodation was separate from the pub. This secured quiet evenings. the food, especially the sausage and mash, stood out as really good.
the room felt a touch warm upon arrival, and space was somewhat limited, especially for luggage.

The staff provided attentive service. they handled requests efficiently and with a smile. i did not encounter any issues . I felt very looked after by the team.

The inn offered a lovely outdoor cafe space and a shop. I spent time enjoying the outdoor spaces. the available coffee was superb, served by a friendly person in the shop. This added value to my stay.

The sunday roast impressed me a lot. the bruschetta starter had generous, tasty toppings! the roast lamb main course came with all the trimmings. It was cooked well and good value. i found the staff friendly, their attitude warm. The atmosphere was relaxing with lovely fires.
The road near the pub had lots of through traffic, a bit distracting. I thought it would be more secluded.

The room was a bit of a letdown. it felt kinda cramped. plus, someone forgot to clean behind the bathroom door. There was hair stuck on the hook. not exactly ideal, is it?
