a pleasant stay
clean room free water tasty breakfast
i spent two nights there and it was mostly good. breakfast was tasty with many choices and nice service the second day, service felt a bit grumpy the first day. the room was clean and had little extras like free water bottles. it was good to have free parking.
the headboard was loose, it banged every time i moved. so, my partner used his pillow to keep it still so he could sleep. also, the hot tap faucet was loose, the mirrors had some smears, and the pillows and mattress felt a bit firm for us.

the staff was mostly cheery, especially during the second breakfast service. they were attentive when bringing the water bottles. any request was addressed swiftly.

delicious beef great dessert bad noise bin noise
The staff moved his car so I could park when I arrived. Breakfast was exactly as ordered with hard eggs for me. The beef was delicious and the crumble for dessert was also great.
The room was noisy as it was above the bar area. The noise was pretty bad and it bothered me. There was also a lot of noise from the bins outside early in the morning.

unacceptable noise levels difficult parking
The location suited my plans fine the room was tidy.
The noise levels were unacceptable I could clearly hear the pub patrons downstairs until late the room was a twin and wasn't properly prepared for a solo traveler that was annoying the parking was not easy to find either.

helpful staff delicious food handy location
the staff were very cute and helpful . the food in the bar was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. the location was handy for accessing nearby attractions.
the room had a coffee machine but lacked a kettle for making tea which i would have preferred.
