i liked the clean pub. its location worked well. the staff seemed friendly and helpful.

cold plates tough toast
The room was clean. I guess that's something.
The breakfast was a complete joke. Cold plates are apparently their specialty. the toast was so tough. I think it could have doubled as a weapon. and the shower? good luck figuring out how to turn it on and off without scalding yourself.

Cozy Gem in the Cotswolds!
attentive staff fully stocked bar convenient parking beautiful location
I found the staff helpful. The bar was fully stocked with an EXCELLENT choice. The location makes it easy to explore the area. I appreciated the convenient car parking.
The shower wasn't easy to use. It was hard to switch on and off and gauge the temperature.

The room featured large bath sheets and plentiful hot water. A GREAT shower and very comfortable beds were additional highlights. The staff were friendly and polite.

tasteful decoration historical character great selection delicious meal
the building has tasteful decoration that complements its historical character. the atmospheric bar area has a great selection of beers. i dined in the inn's restaurant and had a ribeye steak. my wife chose the seabass and was equally impressed with her meal.

reception welcomed me warmly and promptly showed me to my room. staff were very helpful in answering any questions i had. it was a very friendly service.

the hotel is located close to many jewels of the cotswolds such as burford. stow-on-the wold is located nearby as well. it has a beautiful location and friendly locals.

i had the full breakfast accompanied by freshly brewed coffee and fruit juices. the breakfast had a good spread . the food was excellent with quick service!

indifferent staff unappealing menu
the location worked well for my trip to the cotswolds the hotel maintained a clean state
the room felt quite cramped the staff seemed somewhat indifferent to providing good service i did not find the evening meal menu particularly appealing the food we received was below expectations

attractive building friendly service clean room long wait overpriced room bathroom mould
The building and courtyard were very attractive. The service was friendly. The room was very clean indeed.
i waited a long time for the dessert menu! the waitress forgot about it. The room was overpriced honestly. it's run DOWN and needs tlc especially the bathroom with the mould, i saw.
