Good Stay Near Cotswolds

I stayed in the rooms across from the pub. My room had space and overlooked the Windrush river. I found the location peaceful and a short drive into nearby towns. The staff were friendly, and the fires create a wonderful atmosphere. Breakfast choices were great with tasty jam, croissants, and yoghurts.
The pub was tricky to find due to the lack of clear signage along the route.

The rooms had comfy beds with rural views. It was in a converted house across from the pub. The rooms were spacious, so I had space to relax after a long day.

The place is in a superb location, prototypical Cotswolds with green surroundings. I did find it a little isolated, yet it's only ten minutes from town. The river runs nearby.

The accommodation buildings are separate from the pub, so no noise problem here. I enjoyed the excellent food choices available in the pub itself, so there was something for everyone.

The staff proved helpful and polite, and nothing was too much trouble. I had dinner and breakfast, both great experiences, so I will happily come back.

our room was nicely decorated. It had plenty of storage which surprised us. Clean towels arrived every day, this was another bonus.
the flooring was uneven. the chairs scraped on the surface at breakfast. Our room was dark with a small window. There were no easy chairs to relax in. Small cups were provided, but there were no biscuits.

the restaurant served excellent dinner and breakfast. i found that vegetarians were well catered for. the room included everything i needed
the signage for the inn was not evident, difficult to locate in the dark.
