surprised by great value!

good choice free parking convenient parking dog area
the room had space, i did notice minor floor issues that were easily addressed. breakfast presented a great choice, even those with dietary needs were satisfied. it was calm at meal times, i noticed the staff offered service to resident guests only. the free parking was convenient, and a dedicated dog walking area was available.
The bathroom sink was quite small. I found it a little difficult to use for shaving.

sweet escape

comfy bed extra pillows refurbished shower room lots of choice
the spacious double room was lovely, with super comfy beds and extra pillows. i found an iron with an ironing board and hairdryer available in the wardrobe, it helped me look my best. the recently refurbished shower room was spotlessly clean, a welcome detail after a long day. breakfast included lots of choices and tasted very good!!!
the bar needed some painting. i noticed the seating needed recovering, so it would look more lovely.

The hotel is easy to find near the motorway, this made my journey very smooth and enjoyable. there is plenty of free parking available. A bonus for those of us who drive. a bus stop is right next door!!!

clean room friendly staff superb pie
The family room was clean. Staff was helpful and very friendly. I find the food good, especially the superb pie. Staff managed the pub well.
My room was overly hot. I had to run the fan.
