Excellent Stay
warm welcome homely feeling short walk
Gemma gave us a very warm welcome and created a homely feeling. The guest house sits a short walk from the town centre (this made access to pubs and restaurants easy). The breakfast included a good selection.

Mixed experience at this hotel
poor sound insulation peeling paint
the breakfast offering was adequate with cereal, pastries, juice and fruit available.
i found the room noisy due to poor sound insulation from the people above i could hear every footstep and even hear the toilet flush the paint was peeling off the skirting board near the shower this needed attention the shampoo bottle lid was broken and needed replacing.

pleasant location, minor drawbacks
super clean feel good breakfast great location compact room peeling paint missing paint
the b&b has a super clean feel to it. breakfast was really good too. the location is a plus as it allows movement around the area so easily.
the room seemed a bit compact upon arrival. i noticed the paint was peeling and cracking on the ceiling so a touch-up might be needed. the bathroom could also use a little attention as some paint was missing near the shower.
