A romantic getaway

comfy bed powerful shower well-stocked tray
i ABSOLUTELY adored the hotel location. it was so convenient with parking at the sister hotel next door. i found the bed comfy. the shower pressure was very powerful. there was also a well-stocked tea coffee and biscuit tray.
the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in my bathroom. i do think the hotel needs some renovating.

the staff were so friendly and helpful. they were always available to assist with any requests. i even left my phone charger in the room. the reception called me so i could pick it up after my walk.

peeling wallpaper untrained staff
the log fires in the bar were nice. they created a cozy atmosphere.
the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom. also, the staff seemed untrained regarding the drinks and wine selection. it felt very expensive for the level of comfort.

unwashed mugs wet towels
housekeeping disappointed me tea and coffee mugs remained unwashed and used towels were hung back up still wet i felt the price did not align with this lack of attention to detail.

The location was FANTASTIC. The historic building had immense charm, I seemed like I traveled back in time.
