comfortable room friendly staff surly service noisy room
i found the room charming it had beautiful comfortable rooms. the sitting rooms were lovely with cute real fires. our room was comfortable with a good selection of coffee and tea. molton brown products filled the bathroom dining was relaxing the staff were friendly helpful and the food was delicious with a good choice.
the service felt haphazard sometimes surly and mostly friendly.

The location was FANTASTIC, just a short walk from the High Street. The building had great character and charm. I found the service good. The food was decent.
The shower wasn't powerful. It was just a trickle. The room felt a bit dated.

acceptable stay with housekeeping issues
unwashed mugs wet towels
housekeeping disappointed me tea and coffee mugs remained unwashed and used towels were hung back up still wet i felt the price did not align with this lack of attention to detail.
