friendly service good quality small room noisy bar
The location was very central. It was easy to reach various shopping centers (it was really convenient!). Breakfast had good quality. Staff provided friendly service.
The room felt small. The toilet and shower room could hardly fit one person. The furniture in the bedroom needs updating. I could not sleep until the bar closed due to the noise.

the lady jane suite was good. we had the best views of the high street. the double aspect gave a rear view of the courtyard and balustraded gallery.
access was a bit difficult. i had to carry luggage over cobblestones from the distant car park. the reception felt unclear, and no help was offered for luggage.

efficient staff clean bedroom hard work
matt and kat were really good staff, handling reception and waitressing efficiently. they also restocked drink machines amidst apparent staff shortages. i hope the owners acknowledge their hard work, as the bedroom was clean.
i noticed very slight dislevelled floors within the bedroom.

The location was central, right in the heart of the town. That worked well. Staff was attentive. They accommodated my bicycle by storing it in an unused portion of the pub. Breakfast included typical British dishes. It was satisfactory. The bed provided good comfort.
The room lacked special bicycle storage.
