Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
No38 The Park offers guests beautifully designed and spacious rooms, some even featuring 58 sq m of richly decorated space and princely bathrooms. Its location opposite the park is considered excellent, with the town centre less than 10 minutes away and nearby parking adding convenience. While most found it seamless, a few guests have mentioned that certain aspects, like the milk provided for the velvetiser, could be improved; however, the hotel's proximity to the park is frequently mentioned as a plus, creating a generally great experience, further enhanced by snacks on arrival and a tasty breakfast with fresh food.

extra parking slow breakfast service
I felt a little let down by a few things. The parking cost extra. That felt a bit cheeky given the price of the room, and I found the breakfast service to be quite slow. It took a while to get someone's attention and the food took longer than expected. The staff seemed stretched, though friendly.

decent visit, some MINOR issues

equipped room friendly staff great location cold potatoes solid yolks french coffee
I found the room exactly as it was described. it was well equipped. the staff were very friendly, which i appreciated. the location was also great. It was close to everything.
the food was a bit disappointing. dinner included cold cream potatoes, something i didn't expect. also, they didn't know how to prepare a french coffee. breakfast featured poached eggs, but they seemed more like boiled eggs, with solid yolks.

the breakfast was really good. the chef cooked fresh food, and the orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. the room offered lovely little extras too.
i found no wardrobe in the room. a wardrobe is important, especially with a freestanding bath in the room. also, the heating system seemed inefficient.
