The beautiful double room was spacious and well-equipped. the bed linen felt clean and fresh. I slept soundly. free tea, coffee and biscuits were provided in the room. i found the parking free and conveniently located across the street. It was a bonus.

The room was spacious and traditionally furnished. It included a four poster bed and a stand alone bath. The hotel team were helpful and friendly. The bar was regularly frequented by locals, which i think is a good sign.
The room needed some tlc. (Nothing major, just a few things here and there). I noticed cobwebs around the room. Some handles were loose, and a window was broken, so i couldn't open it.

the breakfast was fabulous!!! the bar area had a really nice atmosphere. i especially liked that the location allowed easy access to nearby shops. free parking on the opposite side of the street was very convenient.
my room had a very slight musty smell.

the staff welcomed me warmly upon arrival. the room was spacious and well-appointed. the breakfast was excellent (especially the variety of fresh fruit). parking on the street opposite was convenient later in the day.

The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly. I liked the location on the main high street (very convenient).
I waited quite a while for my meal. The tv aerial wall socket was damaged. There was no plug for the washbasin in my room.
