the hotel offered a clean room. i also found a great selection of food that could please everyone. the grounds were beautifully maintained and provided a nice area to walk.

the swimming pool and jacuzzi were clean, this was a plus. dressing rooms had dyson hairdryers for guest use, this was also convenient. the building displayed sympathetically renovated design and comfortable areas to sit.

staff were available to assist with meal requests in the kitchen. the staff took visitors and luggage in a buggy from the car park. i needed extra pillows, these were provided quickly. staff members were helpful checking menus to make sure my friend was dairy free.

i liked the food, it was prepared well and served nicely. breakfast and dinner in the market garden was well-presented. three restaurants provided great food served by well trained staff. afternoon tea included menu changes to accommodate dietary needs.

the hotel is in a grand-looking building with a long driveway. this driveway is about one and a half miles from the public road, it leads to the front door. the location has well-kept grounds and woodland surrounding the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. I especially liked the wide selection available. the evening entertainment was also good. It had a varied program with options to choose from. i had a nice break there.

The coffee provided really needs an upgrade. I actually had to bring my own.

the grounds are beautiful and so well looked after. they cover over 400 acres. the food is excellent and the staff is very helpful too. i took part in archery for the first time with excellent supervision.

the rooms don't have bath robes, which i would have liked.
