CAT AND CUSTARD POT INN, Shipton Moyne

The hotel operates two distinct dining spaces: the main pub restaurant serving locally sourced pub classics and the Italian Chalet offering crafted monthly menus by an experienced Pizzaiolo. The Italian Chalet features a log burner and pelt-covered chairs, with pizzas made from fresh, well-sourced ingredients. The on-site restaurant emphasizes local food sourcing from nearby farms, with a menu that changes monthly to reflect seasonal availability.

The hotel offers eight en-suite bedrooms, each individually decorated with antique furniture and named after local landmarks. Room types include Standard King Room, Superior King Room, and Small Double Room, all equipped with flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms with rainfall showers or roll-top baths. All rooms are allergy-free and include heating, tea/coffee making facilities, and complimentary bottled water replenished daily.

Set in the quiet Cotswolds village of Shipton Moyne, the hotel is a 10-minute drive from the historic towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury. Nearby attractions include Highgrove House & Gardens, Cheltenham Racecourse, and polo events, with Bristol and Bath within a 30-45 minute drive. The area offers golfing, horse riding, cycling, and fishing, with footpaths running alongside the pub for dog walks.

The hotel is dog-friendly, allowing dogs in the bar, restaurant, and rooms, with footpaths directly accessible from the property for walks. A private event space, the Pizza Chalet, can be hired for tailored celebrations such as birthday parties, offering a rolling pizza buffet and efficient staff. The outdoor terrace provides an inviting space for dining and relaxing, overlooking the picturesque village.

Guests receive a complimentary full English breakfast each morning, cooked to order with locally sourced ingredients. The hotel provides free private parking on site, CCTV in common areas and outside, and daily housekeeping. A complimentary full English breakfast is available, and the hotel has a designated smoking area and non-smoking rooms throughout.
