dog friendly rooms pleasant atmosphere gluten-free options comfortable room
i appreciated that the rooms are dog friendly, including the bar and restaurant. the fire in the dining room contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. i found several menu items easily adaptable for gluten-free requirements. a restful night followed in a comfortable room, complete with crisp percale linen and a very clean bathroom.
the food quality did not meet expectations i found it quite disappointing overall.

The room included a coffee machine and bottled water. That was really nice. The staff was friendly. They were happy to assist with anything I needed, so I felt welcomed. The breakfast had a full English option that tasted good, and the bed offered expected amenities and comfort. The car park at the rear was conveniently sized.
I found some slight stains on the carpet in the room. The room looked a bit worn.

fabulous location amazing restaurant cute staff noisy extractor stained toilet dirty spots
the location was fabulous, only minutes from highgrove. the restaurant and bar were amazing. the staff were amazing and.
the room was next to the kitchen extractor fan and it was very noisy. cooking smells filled the room (i did not like that at all). the carpet had dirty spots and the toilet was stained.

great location spacious room convenient restaurant hot room unfriendly staff unavailable cheeseboard
the location was great for relaxation. the room we had was quite spacious (i loved it). the pub and restaurant were convenient for us.
the room was very hot. i thought the staff could have been a bit more friendly. there was no cheeseboard available on saturday night (bummer!).

Small Room and Hidden Fees

small room surprise charge
The room was quite small! This made working on my laptop difficult since there was no desk or chair. the food bill included a surprise 12.5% service charge. Fish and chips with two beers cost £36.00 because of this. I wasn't asked about any food allergies, and the toast at breakfast came already buttered.
