totally awesome stay!

village center fresh milk easy parking
the location is right in the village center with easy parking. the room was fantastic. i also got some proper coffee plus fresh milk, and even gin and tonic in the room!
the bathroom plumbing needed fixing on day one, and the cleanliness there could be better. there was no place at all for hanging clothes. i ended up having to hang my coats in the bathroom, what a disaster!

WHAT a FANTASTIC stay!

complimentary whisky ground coffee
i especially enjoyed the complimentary whisky on the landing it WAS a lovely touch. i also found the ground coffee with a cafetiere and fresh milk in the room A great addition.
the bathroom tap was faulty. the hot water barely trickled out and the cold water did not work in the shower. THIS needs attention.

the room was spacious and comfortable with a large four-poster bed. i appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities AVAILABLE it made mornings much easier. there was plenty of space for luggage AS well.

Really good Food and Superb Service!

large group easy accommodation fantastic service
Tracey and her team were AMAZING!!! They accommodated our large group with ease. No request was too much for them. They ensured our celebrations were a total success. The drinks and service were fantastic!!!
Some staff seemed less attentive. They forgot our breakfast order and did not offer hot drinks. They also seemed a bit miserable.

an ok stay, but some issues

tap issue broken slat
The room included real coffee and fresh milk. That was acceptable.
The bathroom tap had issues. The hot water barely trickled. the cold water would not work in the shower, a major problem. i also noticed a broken slat on the day bed.

The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. The menu had good choices at reasonable prices. Bedrooms were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. I found the garden was developing well.
The bathroom hot water barely trickled. The cold water would not work on the shower. I found it a pain travelling with a toddler.
