The breakfast choices included a cooked option. The price was budget friendly. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The location allowed walking to the townhall and bus stop.
I noticed lots of noise. Rooms sit directly adjacent a busy and noisy pub that was open until past midnight. Sound insulation from outside was poor. This caused me to wake up when neighbours walked to the toilet.

The room included ample tea and coffee. Staff members offered helpful service throughout my stay. Breakfast featured freshly cooked selections and tasted delicious. The location proved to be convenient for attending a wedding nearby.
On street parking availability was limited, requiring some patience to find a space.

The staff was always friendly, helpful and approachable. Check-in was easy, and i appreciated the staff explaining everything thoroughly. They were even helpful with luggage transfer, even though i booked elsewhere.

Charming Stay, Clean Rooms and Friendly Staff

clean room friendly staff excellent breakfast
The room was very clean including the en suite bathroom. Staff greeted me really and explained all details about my stay. The bar area featured a solid beer selection. Breakfast proved excellent and the room offered comfort.
The hotel sent an email saying noise from the pub 'can be' present during busy times. I found this to be an understatement as noise was consistently present. A DJ even played dance music until 11:15 PM one night.

The staff were kind and accommodating. They were always easy to find and willing to help guests. I received a friendly reception. They were helpful and polite at all times, this.
