The room was beautiful and impeccably clean. I especially liked the lovely sheets and luxurious bedding. the location was central and convenient (only a 3 minute walk from the train station). the staff were helpful and were great too assist me. i found the food from the restaurant reasonably priced and delicious.
the noise from other rooms was a bit noticeable and affected my sleep quality.

The restaurant offered generous portions and great thai food. I enjoyed the delicious packed breakfast i received on my departure day. the toasties from the nearby boneyard (where breakfast is served) are also a must-try.

my room featured an eclectic mix of hand-painted, solid, beautiful furniture with a very comfy new bed. it included plenty of tea and coffee, a quiet fridge, a good quality hair dryer, and a lovely spacious shower. the building itself has a rustic beauty reflecting its 350-year history.

the location is perfect, right in the centre of town, and free parking is available all along the high street. it is only a short walk from the train station making it very accessible. i had a great view from my room (which was lovely).
