mixed experience. needs attention
dirty carpet damp smell
breakfast had good options, and i appreciated that dogs are allowed.
the carpet in the pub was quite dirty and worn. tables felt sticky, unpleasant. cleanliness was an issue in both the pub and the room i occupied, and the smell of dampness was overwhelming.

The staff was helpful. The food in the restaurant was fabulous (especially the breakfast!).
The room smelled strongly of dampness. The carpet was very worn and dirty.

Satisfactory Stay Near Cotswold Way
home-cooked meal multiple choice lovely welcome
The room provided everything I needed for my one night stay. The pub food menu included multiple choices of home-cooked meals. The staff offered a very lovely welcome upon arrival. I also found breakfast to be very delicious.
The room looked a bit tired and needed some updating. The decor need some refreshed to look its best. I also noticed few cobwebs in the room. I hope they fix it soon.

The hotel is situated directly on the Cotswold Way path, very convenient for hikers. It is easy to access local amenities and services from here. its position offers a good balance of accessibility.
