The room was spacious and light. the food was delicious. I had fish and chips with peas, with the fish cooked to crispy perfection and the white fish inside so tender! the lager and guinness were kept in excellent condition

the staff were friendly and helpful (that's always a plus).
the room was smaller than i expected and it felt a bit cramped. there was also a large screw sticking out from the bathroom door. it seemed like a safety hazard, and the door was difficult to close properly.

nice stay sunday lunch friendly area
the staff were very good making my stay nice and easy. i was impressed with the food quality especially sunday lunch it tasted delicious. the village location felt very genuine and friendly i enjoyed exploring the area.
the bathroom lacked hot water early one morning so showers were not possible at that time. this was resolved later but it did cause a small inconvenience.
