the breakfast was delicious and well cooked (especially the sausages).
The car park was somewhat cramped, and accessing it in the dark wasn't obvious. Clearer instructions would have been helpful, as phoning for directions felt a bit frosty.

ground-floor location necessary amenities king-size bed
I chose not to have breakfast due to an early appointment (thanks for the option though!). The room's ground-floor location worked very well for me. The provided king-size bed was large. the room included all necessary amenities. The hotel's closeness to the hospital proved convenient. I enjoyed the surprise garden.
The car park felt a little cramped when I arrived after dark.

Charming and Convenient Stay
lovely garden secure parking
I found the location great. It was easy to reach the Heritage Hub. The room included a fridge and microwave, so I could conveniently eat in. I enjoyed sitting in the garden with wine after exploring. The garden was lovely.
I struggled to find the car park and navigate the access road due to potholes. The pillows felt very hard, made sleeping uncomfortable. It was hard to find any member of staff and get information on what can be used.

The hotel is within walking distance to local attractions. I found India Zones to be a great nearby restaurant option. It really added to the convenience of my stay, as I could easily explore and dine.

helpful staff plenty parking many stairs covered front
the staff were very helpful and friendly. the family run hotel had plenty of parking available. i found the staff very helpful indeed. i have stayed here before and i will stay again.
there were too many stairs and corridors. it was difficult to find the hotel as the front was covered over. i noted no clear signage to the car park. the description called it a boutique hotel, but it wasn't.

the location proved convenient (i walked everywhere). the room was quite spacious, providing ample space to relax. i appreciated having both a fridge and a microwave in the room. it was a superior double room and the bed was really comfortable.
the on-site parking area felt a bit cramped.
