super clean room peaceful location really good breakfast
The room was super clean. It was the Superior Double Room 'The Earl Grey'! The location was peaceful, and the staff were helpful! Breakfast was really good. It set me up perfectly for exploring the local area! The room's decor mixed modern style and Cotswold charm beautifully. I particularly enjoyed the superb mattress and bedding. It. But the building itself was a stunner.
The pub was busy. It made conversation a bit loud at times.

the staff was friendly enough.
the room i booked, the 'the keepers' comfort double room, felt smaller than it looked in pictures. one morning, there was no hot water for a shower. also the noise from the pub downstairs was quite loud late into the evening, and it made sleeping difficult.
