underwhelming experience
polite staffroom locationinconsistent shower
the staff impressed me with their politeness and eagerness to help.
additionally the shower temperature fluctuated greatly making it difficult to have a consistent shower the experience was quite unpleasant because of the inconsistent shower temperature and noise.

the restaurant food tasted superb for dinner. breakfast was also included. the staff was friendly and helpful. the hotel location in the middle of town was convenient.
the hotel pictures looked better than the reality. the old building needed refurbishment, especially floors. soundproofing for the rooms are necessary because you can hear everything.

The room was very clean. A large comfortable bed was included. quality toiletries. The room also had teas and coffee. We enjoyed drinks in the lovely walled garden. I liked the oldie worldly feel about the hotel.
The room was a bit too warm and I could not cool it down, a slight issue.

The staff were always polite, and they acknowledged each guest. Breakfast service was lovely. Staff even offered the dogs sausages. Staff were pretty good too, a nice touch.
