excellent stay with great amenities
good size helpful staff accessible car park
the room was a good size and the bathroom was large. it was clean, a plus for me. the staff were friendly and helpful, so i felt welcome. the car park was large and easily accessible, which simplified arrival (it had ample space).
the bar closes mid week at 9pm. it was not ideal since i arrived late and wanted a drink. this early closure limited my options that evening. i hope they extend these hours in the future.
Dining
9/10
i had several meals and they were delicious. the included breakfast was top notch. the flapjack provided in our room upon check in was also very nice (especially with a morning coffee!).
Rooms
10/10
the room had everything you could need including plenty of refreshments. a fresh milk flask was a thoughtful touch. spare bedding was available, so i could adjust the comfort to my liking. the bed was comfortable.
