the breakfast was good, i guess. it filled a hole.

peaceful location country house local produce ample parking
the location was quiet and peaceful. a traditional country house sat in a classic english village setting. the breakfast included fresh, local produce and lou served it with a friendly attitude. i found plenty of parking space available .
the digital thermostats on the radiators did not get hot, despite several attempts, and i found the room temperature to be somewhat cold.

the rooms were clean and spacious with helpful information. i found cards with suggestions for local eateries. the information booklet contained anything i needed! lou at breakfast was lovely, she makes amazing poached eggs!!!
i was asked to move my van a second time four hours later, and i felt a bit annoyed by this request, especially because i wasn't feeling well.

Wonderful Stay in a Beautiful House

warm welcome comfortable room fabulous shower helpful staff
I received a warm welcome when I arrived. The room was comfortable. The shower was fabulous, and breakfast was lovely. James and Alex gave helpful local information for places to eat, shop, and find entertainment. I felt safe as a guest alone in this lovely hotel.
