slightly underwhelming stay.
acceptable location surrounding area zero provisions pet
the location was acceptable for exploring the surrounding area, i guess.
I found out quickly that bringing a pet here comes with complications. There were zero provisions for pets, not even a bowl for water.

amazing stay!
warm welcome lovely toiletries
the welcome was so warm, and the room was super clean. little touches made it special, from lovely toiletries to the hot drink machine. i already booked for next year, breakfast was tasty.
i did notice space was a little tight after they added the en suite. it was workable, but a bit more room would have been amazing. it was a small thing, but worth noting for future stays.

the twin room view on the ground floor had fine views. supremely comfy beds made for a perfect night's sleep. the modern shower room was clean and well-kept.

the hotel is right on the cotswold way, very convenient for walkers. boot room and drying space are well planned out for hikers. access to local attractions is also very convenient.

unpleasant host immediate payment
The room had a great size.
The host. She insisted I move tables during breakfast when the dining area was empty and demanded immediate payment even when I explained I was awaiting a call from the hospital.
