superb stay in a good inn

kind staff included breakfast good value ample parking
i found the staff really kind . i secured a last-minute table for dinner. breakfast was included and it provided excellent value. the location benefits from ample parking and proximity to the canal and local shops.
the room was warm. but i could not figure out how to adjust the heating so i opened a window.

the premises include a quiet area with board games available . there is also convenient parking adjacent to the inn, a significant advantage for those arriving by car. the provision of these facilities enhances the experience.

the beautiful double room was nicely decorated and felt very cozy. it included tea and coffee making facilities, along with biscuits and complementary water. the room was quiet and offered a very comfortable bed, promoting restful sleep.

I found ample parking on arrival. The room included quality toiletries, which I appreciated. Breakfast offered many choices. The breakfast was AMAZING!!!
I found that the room was a little too warm.

The staff went out of their way to help in any way. They even brought my suitcases and any ordered drinks to the room to assist me, because I was at the top of the building. Staff were friendly, helpful.

narrow stairs luggage issues
the breakfast choices were satisfactory.
Access to my room was difficult. the stairs were narrow, and i found it hard to carry my luggage up and down. It was a bit dangerous. this could be a real problem for elderly guests or those with mobility issues.

warm room uncomfortable sleep
the location was good for exploring nearby towns.
the room was too warm, and i couldn't figure out how to adjust the heating (i should have asked). this made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep.

fresh breakfast fluffy towels comfortable bed high quality
i found the breakfast lovely. there was so much choice, and everything tasted so fresh. the fluffy towels in my room were a small luxury that i greatly appreciated. the bed, oh the bed, it was soft and supremely comfortable. EVERYTHING felt so high quality, a true treat.
the room was small, a slight inconvenience in an otherwise perfect stay.

excellent breakfast fabulous location small room missing hook
the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. the location is fabulous for accessing local attractions.
the room was small. there was no hook on the door for the towel, so i left it on top of the cistern.
