FIRE SERVICE COLLEGE, Moreton-in-Marsh

The Fire Service College is a working fire service training centre that provides guest accommodation. Guests arrive through a 24-hour manned security barrier and stay in a gated campus with CCTV. The grounds include a parkrun route, a burnt-out training building, vintage fire engines, a chapel, and a shrine.

Rooms include a private bathroom, work desk, TV, electric kettle, and a hospitality tray with tea and coffee. The accommodation block has lifts, non-smoking rooms, luggage storage, and access to a shared kitchen and laundry. Safety deposit boxes are available on request.

A breakfast buffet is served daily at £13 per person, offering a full English breakfast, cereals, and pastries. Guests can use the swimming pool, fitness centre, and squash court for a fee, subject to an induction. Each floor has a shared kitchen with a microwave and a free laundry room with washing machines and dryers, plus meeting and banquet facilities on site.

The college is a 20-minute walk from Moreton-in-Marsh town centre. The Cotswolds, Broadway Tower (13 km), Blenheim Palace (30 km), and Sudeley Castle (25 km) are all within close reach. The accommodation sits in open grounds with a forested area directly in front of the rooms, and a cycling route runs through the campus.

24-hour security staff and a manned barrier control access to the site. Daily housekeeping is provided, and free parking is available directly outside the building. Guests can request a late checkout beyond the standard 9:00 am departure time.
