a dreamy retreat
friendly staffdietary needsfine location
the staff was very friendly. my dietary needs received great care. the location is fine with grazing ponies nearby. i saw amazing views when the fog cleared.

the restaurant offered excellent meals the staff were attentive and courteous parking was easy breakfast choices were abundant. the location on minchinhampton common allowed dog exercises it was perfect. the dinner had intense flavours it was well balanced i would visit again for the food alone.
the room felt a little small floors were uneven and the bed reminded me of sleeping on a boat the room was dingy. a shower head would not stay up and a window didn't have a curtain. the floors were uneven that the bed was sloping.

The bed was rather firm. The kind that doesn't care about your spine. i also noticed some paint flaking off the ceiling in the bathroom, not ideal. designated parking seemed to be a suggestion, not a reality. golfers had first dibs, so i parked on the roadside. we loved the common. but the room was very small
