The reception was lovely. I arrived late due to the RIAT event, but the team welcomed me warmly. They confirmed it was fine when I called ahead to let them know I might be a few minutes late for my meal. The breakfast was excellent with a reasonably extensive selection of continental and hot food.
The toiletries packaging was difficult to open. It was impossible to read the label. I found this frustrating.

The staff was very helpful . I appreciated the prompt service in the restaurant. They were always available to answer questions about the area and offered assistance with directions.

The staff were friendly and helpful I appreciated their attentiveness. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious I enjoyed the variety of options. The hotel has lovely gardens and I liked the tasteful decorations inside. The pub was perfect for relaxing after a day exploring the area
The toiletries packaging was illegible I found it difficult to open and read the labels. There was no place in the shower to put toiletries this was inconvenient. The mirror in the bedroom was poorly located I struggled to use it. The floorboards in the room above were very noisy I could hear every step.

The hotel provided parking with ease. Check-in was cute. Food and drink were reasonably priced. Service was great and I enjoyed the experience.
I found the room had a slight musty smell when I entered it. The gardens were nicely kept and relaxing. the initial smell was a small inconvenience.
