I found the staff very helpful. They provided directions and local recommendations. the breakfast service offered a variety of fresh options. The blueberry pancakes were a particular highlight. the location allowed easy access to attractions like the roman baths. The walk took only fifteen minutes. i appreciated the thoughtful follow-up from the front desk regarding my travel plans.
the television in my room was mounted rather high, slightly difficult to view comfortably.

The breakfast was very good (especially the pancakes!). i also appreciated the central location, allowing easy exploration of the city center. the hotel provided parking at a nearby sister hotel. This was convenient at 20 pounds per night.
the room did not have air conditioning, only a fan.

missing elevator fixed breakfast time
the location was quite convenient for accessing the city center.
i was assigned a room on the 4th floor and there was no lift. this meant a climb of five flights of steep stairs.

hard bed poor shower
the location was acceptable, it allowed easy access to nearby attractions.
the room proved disappointing, i found the bed hard. the bathroom looked old and the shower was poor. noise from outside was also disruptive, i struggled to sleep.
