Charming Stay with Fantastic Food!

I found the staff helpful. They anticipated every need. Fresh milk looked by the door each morning, a good touch. The communal pantry offered extra amenities. It was a thoughtful convenience!!! The breakfast was AMAZING, with gourmet options and a continental buffet.

The TV in my room lacked Netflix access, despite it being advertised. Getting channels to work required some effort with the aerial. The room could have been warmer upon arrival, as the heating was off.

The reception staff arranged taxis and provided early check-in, demonstrating great attentiveness. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and efficient, promptly addressing all requests. The service was faultless throughout my visit!!!

The room upgrade was a pleasant surprise. It enhanced the experience. Drinks and the Sunday roast by the fire created a cozy evening. Breakfast was also delicious. I found the pantry a great addition, it allowed easy access to extra essentials.

The absence of a mini fridge was slightly inconvenient, especially with only room temperature water provided.

anniversary bliss in a charming retreat.

we were treated wonderfully for our anniversary, a spoiling experience! danielle, our host, was perfect. she is such a credit to the hotel. our dinner featured the best onion soup. i've ever tasted. alex enhanced our meal with prosecco and an anniversary plate. it was so thoughtful of him. room 22 was beyond expectation. the venue included a brook and divine candle scents. we never wanted to leave.

noise affected the experience, despite the hotel's potential. connecting doors allowed sound to travel easily between rooms. noise from above also persisted until late at night. the dog-friendly policy proved bothersome, too. barking dogs disrupted the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel.
