charming stay with friendly faces
friendly staff early check-in delicious breakfast
the staff were cute. they helped with early check-in (due to a listing error). breakfast was a real highlight, genuinely the best hotel breakfast i've had in a while.
i wasn't told about the self-service policy for a two-day stay. we had to make our own bed and clean the coffee cups.

the hotel features rooms that are well laid out, providing sufficient space and their belongings. each room contains necessary amenities. the premises have a cosy pub.

the team makes guests feel welcome with really good friendliness. staff members are attentive to the needs of visitors, offering assistance and creating a positive atmosphere. they are great with children and provide a great family environment (which is a huge plus!).

the breakfast selection is excellent, with good options available. the quality of the food is high, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared dishes, especially the full english breakfast. the cosy pub provides a cute area for drinks.

friendly staff well-laid-out room great shower closed kitchen loud music late-night noise
The staff were quite friendly . I liked the well-laid-out room I had. I thought the shower was great with good water pressure.
I was told upon arrival that the kitchen was closed because of a party. I could have eaten earlier if I had known this in advance. The music was loud and stopped around 11:30 PM. I ended up ordering a takeaway.

unsupportive bed poor quality bedding
the location was acceptable.
There was no hot food available. I was offered a ham salad roll and chips. the bed was too bouncy. the bedding felt hot and of poor quality.
